Sublimation Printing in Surat
Sublimation works by turning solid dye into gas under heat and pressure so it bonds into the surface rather than sitting on top of it. That is why a sublimated mug survives dishwashing while a sticker-printed one does not.
The constraint is material. Sublimation only bonds to polyester fabric or specially coated hard surfaces. It will not work on 100% cotton — a frequent source of disappointment when customers bring their own shirts.
It suits short runs and personalised items particularly well, since there is no plate setup. Single pieces are entirely practical, which makes it useful for gifts, awards and small corporate batches.

Sublimation Printing — frequently asked questions
Can you sublimate onto a cotton t-shirt?
No. Sublimation dye bonds only to polyester fibres and coated surfaces — on cotton it simply washes out. For cotton garments you need screen printing or DTF transfer instead. If you bring your own shirts, check the composition label first.
Will a sublimated mug survive the dishwasher?
Yes. Because the dye bonds into the coating rather than sitting on the surface, it does not peel or wash off the way sticker or vinyl-applied designs do. Sublimated mugs are dishwasher safe under normal use.
What is the minimum order for mug or t-shirt printing?
One. There is no plate or screen setup with sublimation, so single personalised pieces are entirely practical. This makes it well suited to gifts, awards and small corporate batches.
What image quality do I need?
A reasonably high-resolution image — roughly 300 DPI at the printed size. Photos taken from social media are often heavily compressed and will look soft or blocky once enlarged onto a mug or frame. Send the original file where possible.
Do you do bulk corporate orders?
Yes. Diwali gifting, employee welcome kits, conference giveaways and dealer gifts are regular work for us. See our corporate gifts page for the broader range of promotional items.
